Welcome to Corsicana Quality Alpacas and Hay

NOTE: For 2021 all of our hay has been sold. Orders for 2022 will be accepted between March and April depending on the weather.
Here at Corsicana Quality Alpacas and Hay, in North Texas, we have created a home for these wonderful animals. We had a number of goals when we started this adventure:
  • Provide them a peaceful and safe environment.
  • Have a place where our family and visitors could visit, relax and interact with the alpacas.
  • Produce the best quality Alpacas possible.
  • Having quality animals allows us to produce exceptional fleece products.
  • Produce a high quality hay for our alpacas and other alpaca ranches
One of the side benefits of these animals is they are very comforting. When things seem to go wrong, we just walk down to the animals and just sit or stand and watch. They force you to relax while you watch them graze or lay down so the sun warms their stomach, or just listen to them HUM! Sometimes the boys act up and if it gets too bad we go in and break it up.

When I retired in 2020, I thought I would have some down time. Can't figure it out but I swear there is more work to do on the ranch than before!!

We are still adding different Items to our product line. The ranch that handles my fleece and creates my product is run by very special people. They come up with some really neat products. The last time they made Alpaca dolls and when someone comes to the Ranch they fall in love with them - they are neat!!

All of our product so far, except for two blankets are created with fleece from our animals. One of the problems we had with our Farm Store, is not be able to order more than one product at a time. It looks like that is not going to happen. If you want any product just send us Contact us and we will send you a quote - probably less than listed on the web page!!

Some may ask 'Can a rug, made from Alpaca fleece, stand up to traffic?'. When our two foundation animals passed, due to old age, we had a round rug made from their fleece. One animal was white and the other brown. The rug has been in our entry way for more than 7 years and shows no sign of wear. Every two weeks we take it outside and lightly shake it out because it gets all the dirt and mud from the front door entry. I will put a picture of the rug on the web site so you can see it.

When we were testing our animals fleece, the fleece was consistently in the top 1%. If not in the top 1% they are in the top 15% of all registered alpacas EPDs. All of our animals are registered but when I retired, we decided to let the animals live out their lives in peace where they were all born - here on the ranch. They still produce great fleece and we are still having product made.
